Let Us Play is a small independant registered charity based in Wolverhampton (registered charity number 1104506). Our aim is to enhance the lives of children and young people with special needs and disabilities by providing a range of sports, art and play activities in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area. We encourage siblings to attend our activities, and parents or carers are welcome to come along to meet and socialise with other families in a similar situation, while knowing that their child is in a safe, friendly and secure environment.
We have been providing activities for young people since 2003. Every staff member or volunteer at Let Us Play has enhanced CRB clearance, and all of our instructors are highly qualified. Most of our activities are free of charge, and those that aren't carry a very small charge. At many of our activities, you can safely leave your child in our care. However, we do ask that children who are under the age of 8, and those children with very challenging special needs are accompanied by an adult.
Our regular activities include cycling, multi sports, swimming, and arts and crafts, but our list of activities is constantly changing. You can find information about our current activities on the right hand side of this page, or in the Let Us Play newsletter.
Let Us Play also offer a range of activities during the school holidays, with the exception of the Christmas break. Details of our school holiday playscheme are always published in the Let Us Play newsletter.
